Nikki Docherty

Nikki Docherty’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, insurance bad faith litigation, and intellectual property matters.

Nikki received her bachelor’s degree with a double major in political science and philosophy from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2018. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2022 with a Tech Edge J.D. Certificate. As a student at Santa Clara Law, she served as the Associate Development Editor for the High Technology Law Journal, President of the Internet Law Student Organization, Vice President of the Privacy Law Student Organization, Founding Treasurer of the Society of Interactive Entertainment & Gaming Law, and Secretary for the Jewish Law Student Association. She was admitted to the California Bar in 2023. During law school, Nikki interned in the legal departments of Oracle and Palo Alto Networks. She was also a law clerk the Honorable Judge Socrates Manoukian in Santa Clara County Superior Court and a student associate for the Entrepreneur’s Law Clinic at Santa Clara Law.

Prior to joining the firm, Nikki’s practice consisted of trademark prosecution and defending organizations across the country in both tortious claims and business disputes. 

Nikki is admitted to practice in the State of California and is a member of the Association of Defense Counsel and Queen’s Bench Bar Association. She is also certified information privacy professional in U.S. data privacy laws (CIPP/US).
